Born on 21st January 1963 in Częstochowa.

In 1986 graduated in power engineering and applied automation from the Electrical Faculty of the University of Technology in Wrocław.

In 1987 began work at the Provincial Heat Production Enterprise in Legnica. In 2001-2002 was deputy president of the board of Interferie Company in Lublin, and in 2006-2007 - member of the company supervisory board. Between 2005 and 2007 - deputy director for marketing at Dozorbud Grupa Polska Company in Legnica.

Is a long-time trade unionist. Between 1990 and 1998 was deputy chairman, then chairman of Zagłębie Miedziowe regional board of the Solidarity Trade Union based in Legnica. Subsequently, from 2003 to 2005, was a union organization coordinator there.

In the Third Term Sejm was member of the Social Policy Committee and the State Treasury, Enfranchisement and Privatization Committee.

Has no political party affiliation.

Married, has two children.
