Born on 27th March 1961 in Pisz. In 1990 graduated from the Teaching Faculty of the Physical Education Academy in Gdańsk. Upon completion of post-graduate studies at the academy in 1992, obtained the title of Basketball Coach II Class. In 1999 completed post-graduate studies in education management at the Teachers' College in Olsztyn. Between 1981 and 1992 - teacher at an elementary school in Biała Piska. From 1992 to 1996 - principal of an elementary school in Skarżyn; from 1996 to 1998 and from 2002 to 2007 - principal of an elementary school in Biała Piska. From 1994 to1998 - member of Biała Piska Town Council; from 1998 to 2007 - member of Pisz District Council; from 1999 to 2002 - Pisz District administrator. Member of the Polish Teachers' Union.Chairman of the Association for Support of Educational Initiatives at the elementary school in Biała Piska. Chairman of "Sokół" Folk Pupils Sports Club in Biała Piska and member of the board of "Znicz" Folk Municipal Sports Club in Biała Piska. Secretary of the Biała Piska Town and Commune Board of Volunteer Firefighting Services. Member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland and member of its regional council. Married, has two children. |
