Born on 11th August 1968 in Krakow. In 1994 graduated from the Faculty of Romance Philology of the Pedagogical University of Krakow. In 2001 completed post-graduate studies at the Studium of Social Self-Government at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Between 1995 and 1997 taught French at the 7th Private Secondary School and the 11th General Education Secondary School in Krakow. Between 1997 and 1999 worked in a leasing company. From 1999 to 2002 worked at the Chancellery of the Krakow City Mayor. In 2006-2007 managed real estate. Since 2002 - inspector in the Education Department of Krakow Municipal Administration. 2002-2006 - chairman of the Council of Krakow's Krowodrza District. 2006-2007 - chairman of Krakow City Council.
