Born on 14th November 1955 in Warsaw. In 1981, graduated from the Second Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw. In 1993, obtained Specialization Level II in General Surgery. Since 1981, works at the Regional Hospital at Nowe Miasto on Pilica (Independent Public Healthcare Unit). Was consecutively intern, junior assistant, assistant, head of the emergency ward, and director of a hospital. Currently, head of the surgical ward. In 1989, helped to establish the Civic Committee in Nowe Miasto on Pilica. For a few years, headed the Solidarity Trade Union committee at the hospital. In 1998, became member of the Grójec District Council. 2002-2005 - Deputy to the Mazowsze Provincial Parliament. Member of the Polish Surgeons' Society, Society of Videosurgeons and Society of Cancer Surgeons. In the Sixth Term Senate was deputy chairman of the Health Committee, member of the Local Government and State Administration Committee. Belongs to the Law and Justice political party since 2003. Presently is a member of its Mazowsze regional board. Married, has two children. |
