Born on 20th August 1968 in Łódź.

W 1989 graduated from the Post-Secondary Medical Technical School in Łódź.

In 1989-1990 worked as a clerk in the Łódź branch of PKO BP Bank. Between 1991 and 1996 and since 2001 - social worker at the Municipal Social Assistance Centre in Łódź. From 1996 to 1998 - director of a shelter of the "St. Father Albert" Assistance Society. Between 1998 and 2001 - deputy director of a Social Assistance Facility in Konstantynów Łódzki.

Member of the "Orzeł" Łódź speedway racing club.

Member of Łódź City Council in 1994-1998 and 2006-2007, and its chairman in 2006-2007.

Member of the Solidarity Trade Union.

Member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland.

Married, has two children.
