Born on 24th September 1958 in Knyszyn (Podlaskie Province). In 2004 graduated from the Higher School of Environmental Protection in Bydgoszcz. Landscape design and protection engineer. Between 1976 and 1984 worked at Białystok Furniture Company, between 1984 and 1993 - at Białystok Housing Cooperative. From 1993 to 1998 occupied several positions, including that of export manager, at Przedsiębiorstwo Instalacji Przemysłowych "Instal" in Białystok (industrial installation company), and for two terms was member of its supervisory board. Was member of Białystok City Board from 1998 to 2002. Subsequently (2002-2006) was head of the parliamentary office of Sejm deputy Krzysztof Jurgiel. Was governor of Podlaskie Province in 2006-2007. In 2007 was appointed director of Białystok Gas Authority - affiliate of the Mazowiecki Gas Distribution System Operator. Between 1998 and 2006 - member of Białystok City Council. Since 1980 member of the Solidarity Trade Union, member of its Białystok regional board in 1993-1995.Member of the Law and Justice political party and member of its Białystok regional board. Married, has two children. |
