Born on 12th July 1950 in Antoniówka (Lubelskie Province).

W 1976 graduated from the Veterinary Faculty of the Agricultural University in Lublin.

Between 1976 and 1977 headed a department at the State Animal Treatment Centre in Gorzków. From 1977 to 1990 worked at the State Animal Treatment Centre in Żółkiewka initially as head of a department, since 1986 - as director. Between 1990 and1999 ran a private veterinary practice in Żółkiewka. From 2002 to 2006 - head of the Krasnystaw office of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture. In 2006-2007 was Żółkiewka Commune governor.

Between 1990 and 1998 was member of Żółkiewka Commune Council, between 1994 and 1998 headed the council and was deputy to Zamojskie Provincial Parliament. From 1998 to 2002 - member of Krasnystaw District Council and deputy district administrator.

Chairman of the "Motherland" Farmers' Trade Union.

Member of the "Piast" Polish People's Alliance and member of its national council.

Married, has two children.
