Born on July 6th, 1939 in Drwały.

In 1972, graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, University of Warsaw; in 1984, completed post-graduate studies in Education Organization and Management at the Teacher Education Institute in Kalisz. Worked as a teacher in 1956-1972; from 1972 to 1990 - as the Headmaster of an Elementary School in Wyszogród.

Chairman of the Płock Voivodeship Parliament (1994-1998), Płock District Administrator (1999-2010).

Member of the Płock Scientific Society.

Recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Order of Poland Reborn (Polonia Restituta).

Member of the Polish Peoples' Party (PSL); president of the City-Municipal Council of the Party in Wyszogród; member of the District Council of the Party.

Married, has two children.
