Born on 16th February 1968 in Gdynia.

In 1992, graduated from the Faculty of Transport Economics at Gdańsk University and, in 1994, from the Administration Faculty of Gdynia Maritime University. In 1995-1996 worked at the Baltic Container Terminal in Gdynia.

Was a co-founder of the "John Paul the Second" Catholic General-Education Secondary School in Kartuzy (now junior and senior secondary school), and since 1998 serves on a voluntary basis as its principal.

In 2003, initiated the establishment and became chairman of Powiernictwo Polskie - a non-governmental organization established in response to expropriation claims made by associations of Prussian refugees in Germany. Honorary member of Stowarzyszenie Gdynian Wysiedlonych - an organization of Gdynia residents displaced during WW II, and member of Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko-Pomorskie - an organization promoting the Kaszubsko-Pomorskie region. Since July 2007 - member of the Polish-German Reconciliation Foundation.

In the Third and Fourth Term Sejm, was member of the European Integration Committee, Transport and Communication Committee, Infrastructure Committee and Agriculture and Rural Development Committee. In the Sixth Term Senate was the Senate secretary, deputy chairman of the Emigration Affairs and Contacts with Poles Abroad Committee and member of the National Economy Committee. Chaired the delegation of the Sejm and the Senate of the Republic of Poland to the Parliamentary Conference of the Baltic Sea States.

In 1990, joined the Confederacy for Independent Poland political party. 2000-2004 - member of the Conservative People's Alliance political party and chairman of its Pomeranian Province board.

Member of the Law and Justice political party.

Married, has two children.
