Born on 18th October 1949 in Bydgoszcz.
In 1972, graduated from the Veterinary Technical Faculty of Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Between 1972- and 1988 worked as a race horse trainer at Warsaw State Horse Race Tracks. From 1988 to 1990 was the corporate development representative of the board of directors of Inar Company in Warsaw and, concurrently, served as chairman of the board of directors of Warnet Company (until 1999). Between 1999 and 2002 - chairman of the supervisory board of Dom Development Company S.A.
From 1998 to 2001 - member of the Warsaw Centre Commune Council. Served as its deputy chairman.
In the Fourth Term Sejm, was member of the Infrastructure Committee, Health Committee and Special Committee to Consider the Bill on Cooperatives. In the Fifth Term Sejm, was member of the Infrastructure Committee, Health Committee and Entrepreneurship Development Committee.
Member of the national council of the Civic Platform Party of Poland.
Married, has five children.
