Born on 14th November 1947 in Łódź.

In 1973, graduated from the Faculty of Polish Philology at Łódź University.

Between 1974 and 1982, was a journalist at Łódź Public Television. Was fired after the imposition of martial law by the communist regime. After the systemic transformation in Poland, conducted a TV campaign in support of the Solidarity Trade Union in the first free election in 1989. In 1990, returned to Łódź Public Television and worked there as a commentator. Produced large-scale current affairs programs focused on social problems. In 2001, was fired again for having produced a program on corruption in Polish Public Television.

From June 2001, served as the regional representative of the Law and Justice political party.

In the Fourth Term Sejm, was member of the Culture and Media Committee.

Member of the Law and Justice.

Married.
