Born on 17th June 1954 in Ostrzeszów.
In 1978, graduated in chemistry from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at "Adam Mickiewicz" University in Poznań. In 1987, defended a PhD thesis at the Agricultural University of Poznań.
1977-1990 - scientist at Konin Research Station belonging to the Institute of Environmental Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Zabrze. In 1990, started work at the Agricultural University of Poznań. 1994-1995 - export manager at foreign trade company Konimpex; 1995-1997 - chairman of the management board of Hutnik Trade and Services Company. In 1997, was appointed director of the bureau of the Konin Chamber of Commerce. 2001-2003 - market director at Energomontaż-Północ Company. 2001-2005 - lectured at the Konin section of the University of Trade in Łódź. Since 2001, also involved in business consulting.
Was a member of Konin City Council from 1990 to 1998 and from 2002 to 2005, lately as its deputy chairman. 1990-1994 - mayor of Konin.
1987-1989 - member of the Order and Freedom Political Club. Was the chairman of the Konin Municipal Solidarity Civic Committee. Was a founding member of the Christian National Alliance and member of its main council.
Member of the Solidarity Trade Union.
Member of the Law and Justice political party.
Married, has three children.
