Born on 8th December 1961 in Nowa Ruda.

After graduating from the Mining School of the Vocational School Complex No. 2 in Nowa Ruda, worked in 1979 as miner at "Nowa Ruda" Coal Mine. Continued education at the Secondary Technical School of Mining.

In 1986, graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education at Wrocław Academy of Physical Education. 1997-1998 - attended post-graduate studies in public relations at Warsaw University.

1986-1995 - worked as teacher and educator at his alma mater - Vocational School Complex No. 2 in Nowa Ruda.

1993-1999 - director of "Piast" Nowa Ruda Sports Club. In 1996, was appointed chairman of the management board of Silesia Tourism Company in Radków.

In December 1999, was appointed chairman of the management board of the Tourism and Sports Centre in Nowa Ruda. As a representative of Nowa Ruda City Administration, managed the completion of construction and modernization of a large sports complex - Tourism and Sports Centre, which received the prestigious Dolnośląski Klucz Sukcesu award.

Sports activist and coach. 1987-1992 - school-level track-and-field coach and coordinator at the Schools Sports Union - Provincial Branch in Wałbrzych, personnel trainer and founder of Nowa Ruda Sports Club, and, between 1993 and 1999, director of "Piast" Nowa Ruda Sports Club.

During that time, organized numerous sporting and educational events. For example, was a member of the organizing committee of the 50th edition of the Peace Race and the 6th Junior World Sporting Aerobatics Championship. Initiated eight editions of the international integrating cultural and tourism programme Polish-German Relay of Generations. Author and executor of the program National Centre for Diagnostics and Development of Medical Standards operated within the framework of Disability Prevention and Prophylactics.

In 2004, helped to set up the international educational institution Polish-Czech School of Business and Sports "Collegium Glacense" and from the beginning served as its chancellor.

Member of the Law and Justice political party.
