Born on 10th September 1957 in Łuków.

Graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at Łódź University. In 2004, completed post-graduate studies in territorial self-government and administration at the School of Public Administration in Łódź.

Worked as physics teacher for more than 10 years. Since 2002 - deputy mayor of Zduńska Wola.

Chairman of Szansa Association - an organization acting on behalf of accident victims.

Member of the Law and Justice political party. Between 2001 and 2003, was secretary of its regional board in Łódź Province.

Married, has two children.
