Candidate of the Civic Platform Election Committee


Born on 19th August 1955 in the village of Lipka (Wielkopolskie Province).

In 1978, graduated from the Faculty of Polish Philology at "Adam Mickiewicz" University in Poznań. In 1998, obtained specialization in social services from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Social Service Development Centre in Białobrzegi.

Until 1990 - director of the bureau of Caritas Catholic Association. Initiator and, between 1990 and 2005, director of the "John Paul the Second" Welfare Home in Piła.

Initiator of Piła Food Bank (1994) and Wielkopolskie Province Food Bank (1996). Has chaired both banks since their establishment. 1996-2005 - member of the board of the Polish Food Bank Federation.

In 1990, helped to establish the Humanitarian Assistance Foundation in Piła (now Humanitarian Assistance Association), and chaired its board since 1991. Helped to establish the PRO SENIOR Society in 2001 and is its deputy chairman.

2002-2005 - member of the Convention of the State Higher Vocational School in Piła.

1998-2005 - member of Piła City Council; its chairman from 2002 to 2005.

Member of the Civic Platform political party.

Married, has three children.
