Born on 29th August 1931 in Sokołówka (now Ukraine).

In 1974, graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering at Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.

1955-1981 - worked at Prosynchem Design Bureau. In August 1980, established the Solidarity Trade Union local in that workplace and presided it until the imposition of martial law measures in December 1981. During the martial law period, assisted detained and fugitive political activists. Helped to found Duszpasterstwo Ludzi Pracy (Catholic services and education for working people). In 1982, was dismissed from work for involvement with the Solidarity Trade Union. 1989-1992 - deputy chair of the Solidarity Interdepartmental Coordination Committee in Gliwice. 1991-2005 - commissioner of the director of "Maria Skłodowska-Curie" Cancer Institute in Gliwice responsible for funding and chairperson of the Solidarity committee at the Institute.

Deputy to the First Term Sejm (1991-1993). Was member of the Sejm Committee on Liaison with Poles Abroad, chair of the Poland-Kazakhstan Bilateral Group and deputy chair of the Poland-Ukraine Bilateral Group. Through her efforts, the Cancer Institute in Gliwice was added to the list of centrally financed institutions.

1998-2002 - deputy to Silesian Provincial Parliament and deputy chair of its Social Policy Committee and Audit Committee. 2002-2005 - chair of the healthcare committee of Gliwice City Council.

Chairs a foundation that supports the hospice in Gliwice, is deputy chair of the Silesian section of Polish Cancer Society and deputy chair of the central board of Towarzystwo Obrony Kresów Zachodnich Polski - an organization that defends Poland's territorial right to its western and northern regions, which before WW II belonged to Germany and Prussia.

Member of the Law and Justice political party.
